Schluter to match deltas champagne bronze!

Anyone had any luck finding a Schluter that matches deltas champagne bronze? I know the question has been asked before but not finding many results! TIA

Looking for the same! Wonder if any folks on this thread would mind sharing what they ended up choosing?

We had this dilemma. However, we had mixed metal scheme in our bathroom and matched the delta fixtures with matte black medicine cabinets and used a matte black generic brand trim piece (from Home Depot) for the tile backsplash. This wound up looking quite nice.

Has anyone found anything that works

I just went on this journey too. Contractor insisted it be the Schluter brand since we are doing a steam shower. I couldn’t find a metal that matched, so I decided not to try to match the metal and went for a gray that coordinated with the tile instead. I think I like the result a lot more than if there had been a metallic match since I wasn’t too keen on having any profiles. The gray at least blends in more, whereas I think the champagne bronze/luxe gold would have stood out.

"Contractor insisted it be the Schluter brand since we are doing a steam shower"

I believe you were told that. In reality there is zero advantage. What is important for a proper steam shower build would be achieving an acceptable perm. rating to ensure vapor proofing, a tight seal around all penetrations, sealed lighting, proper ventilation to evacuate steam and a ceiling that slopes 2"per l/f.

There are several systems and methods available to accomplish this.

    Nice looking shower!

Thanks. He’s been a bit insistent on some stuff claiming it’s the only way, but I was able to find one I was happy with, so it worked out. He’s followed all of the other necessities you listed.

The parts are excellent, and they match the tiles perfectly.

The struggle is real! Why can't they coordinate. I have white movement tile with a cobalt/turquoise niche. I wanted the champagne bronze schlutter to pop. I'm thinking brushed nickel maybe around the niche and white around the tub/baseboard. I haven't known about other brands. Tuscan beige may be considered too but I liked the metallic.

Hello all, I’m on the hunt for a sink grid that matches the Delta champagne bronze color. I’ve found all the coordinating accessories for my kitchen including cabinet hardware. What a journey that has been! Now, its just this last piece of the champagne bronze puzzle. I’d appreciate any help! Thanks in advnace. Lisa

I just bought the “nickel” color Schluter drain and it matches the delta champagne bronze fixtures almost perfectly. (I thought nickel was meant to be more silver, but the schluter is definitely more gold.)

Thats so crazy! I would never have thought nickel. My contractor ripped out my Kohler and was about to install a chrome grill. Then only offered Brushed Brass or Classic Gold. Ugh. Who knows what I am gonna see when Brushed Brass goes in with my Delta Brushed Champagne!

Schluter’s Vintage Gold is not available yet - sounds like it could be a bit.

Nope, Schluter Vintage Gold looks copper. Here it is on its own and next to a Delta champagne bronze piece. It is nowhere near a match. Irritating because it does not look red on their online pics at all, and we couldn’t find any samples before ordering. Their color descriptions leave a lot to be desired. Ugh. Still on the hunt.

We went with the Schluter brushed brass

@n n Would you mind posting a photo? I’m finding it hard to see photos of the product installed or next to a Delta champagne bronze fixture.

I ended up doing white with white tile. I felt like all the metals were clashing with Delta CZ.

Can someone please post a photo of the delta champagne bronze next to the brushed brass Schlueter?

Looks like there is a brushed copper that might work - would be great if anyone had a compare picture with what they found was the closest.

Sharing because I had such a hard time finding this. Still in late 2024 I could only find it at one small tile store. In my hand is a Delta Champagne Bronze shower arm. It comes in flat or bullnose with corner pieces. https://www.tileshop.com/products/dural-bronze-satin-brushed-l-3-8-in-329705

The Dural Brushed Bronze matches Champagne Bronze beautifully! My advice would be to call The Tile Shop near you to make sure they have he lighter color. I went to pick up at a Tile Shop near me and they had 2 different colors for the same sku (nearly brown and one that matched champagne bronze). I did reach out to the manufacturer to see if they changed the formula, and they stated that they had an issue with a batch a few months back and are still trying to get the incorrect darker color off the shelves. If you call Dural directly they can ship the quantity you need directly to The Tile Shop near you to ensure the correct color.

Posting my experience for whoever it may help because finding matching tile trim has been a PIA! Thankfully I found this post but still had some issues:

I emailed Dural and the GM confirmed the comment above: "A few months ago we did ship the wrong batch to The Tile Shop distribution centers and have since only shipped the lighter shade. I believe there were just a few dark versions in circulation."

However, if you place the order through your The Tile Shop, they're receiving inventory from their specific distribution center who might still be shipping out the wrong color. My location just got a new shipment of the brushed bronze but it was the darker brown color. The Dural GM said it has to come from their main location because they're shipping out the right color now but for whatever reason, he wouldn't place an order to ship to my nearest The Tile Shop (has to be ordered by The Tile Shop). The Tile Shop manager put in a "special order request" asking for the lighter color but was concerned I might still get the darker color. Fingers crossed it's the right one but if not, I will try ordering from one of these places that the Dural GM recommended:

(Use this specific link. The Installers Depot's owner gave it to me and said this one has the correct SKU for the lighter color.)

Thank you so much for the updated info. The original post may be old, but many people are still led here in search of matching trim. Just to confirm once again, the two links you posted are supposed to be the Delta Champagne Bronze matching trim? Hard to tell from the images on the site. I'm paranoid about ordering the wrong thing. There's no tile shop near me to walk in and look.

    @Brian Biondi

No problem! I have updated info and been meaning to post. I cancelled my order from The Tile Shop today and ordered through The Installer's Depot bc shipping was going to take longer, was more expensive, and he wasn't confident I would get the lighter color. I emailed The Installer's Depot and the owner said:

"We do indeed have the lighter colored Brushed Bronze that looks more gold. That picture I have up is indeed not a good representation and I will get it fixed. If you do order -- please use this link to the correct sku even though my picture is in need of improvement."

UPDATE: Don't recommend using the link above. I don't know if they sent the wrong product or if the color has just changed indefinitely from Anna Enn's post but what I received is pretty brown with metallic hints.

Thanks again. I was going to place an order, but I think I'll let you test it out first 😉. Hopefully my search for all things Delta Champagne Bronze is coming to an end. I'm still searching for a recessed toilet paper roll holder and a toilet water supply line in Champagne Bronze. I may have to go the spray paint route on these.

I know you can purchase the Delta CB toilet handle on Amazon as I just did that last week. You can also purchase a delta toilet paper roll as well in various different styles but no recessed that I know of. Not every style has every accessory but as the color is precise being the Delta brand, you can kind of mix and match fixtures and accessories. I've been doing this with one style shower fixture, a different for sink faucets, and a different style for towel rings. I liked the shower fixture but not the handles, and then there weren't towel rings in that line. Waiting for the update too as I've now purchased two trim pieces that haven't matched and my project is now delayed. Was about to just buy white to match the tile. Hoping this is a promising lead as I'm ready to move forward and get this project back on track.

Thanks for the additional info. I'm looking for a shower door too. kohler makes one that matches, but I wasn't crazy about the reviews. I have a unique situation where the shower head is on the right but I can only enter the shower from the left so with the way the shower doors line up to keep water out, I would have to use bypass style doors. I may end up going with a nickel, or white if they make it.

@Brian Biondi Unfortunately the Dural "brushed bronze" tile trim I received from The Installers Depot was still dark brown. I really don't recommend going that route. I went to the Tile Shop and they had two options that were pretty close though. Dural tile trim in "brass high gloss" and a Alison Victoria 12" pencil trim that was either rose gold or champagne (store employee called it champagne but noticed the display paper said it was rose gold. I can confirm if needed). We're going with the Dural brass high gloss.

    • Dural brass high gloss (first photo): It's a teeny tiny bit more yellow than Delta but still a really good match (and I'm picky). It's brass plated so it will patina (darken over time) so more maintenance if you want it to always match. I have unlaquered brass items that I'm able to easily bring back to the original color if I want. The brass plating is more expensive - $100 for the 98" stick. Don't be scared by the color on the back of the trim. It's very yellow compared to the front. I think they only plate the front. Comes in 0.5" and 0.375" for sure and possibly others.
    • Alison Victoria rose gold or champagne bronze pencil trim (second photo): I think it's a teeny tiny bit coolor in color and less shiny than the Delta but also a really good match. Since it's pencil trim, it only comes in 12" lengths. I believe there will be a grout line in between each length or at least that's how the display looked. Looking straight on, you will see more of it vs the Dural trim if that makes sense. The way it's in my photo is what you will see if looking straight on. That's the reason we're going with the Dural. We wanted something more subtle. $11.99/stick. Only comes in 0.4" width.

I know you said you don't have a local The Tile Shop but looks like you can order online. Let me know if you have any questions! Hope this helps!

Well that unfortunate the Dural wasn't the correct color. I had high hopes for that one. Thank you for sharing the results of all your hard work. You came up with some great options, but 100 a stick is quite pricey. Did the Dural trim you received have the SKU DSAE 100-B-SF? That is definitely the number shown on the matching trim that @anna posted. Did Dural produce two different colors with the same SKU?

The SKU is the same as Anna's so I have no idea what's going on. It's been frustrating. I only need 1 stick (not even) and at this point am willing to pay $100 so I can be done! I did email The Installers Depot to see if they had answers so will let you know if I find anything else out. It might be worth calling the Dural company. The GM was helpful via email but wasn't willing to ship it directly to me. Maybe you'll have better luck though.

I just found this on Home Depot's website. They don't have this product in any stores near me so I haven't see it in person. But it looks like it would match fairly well. Wondering if anyone has used this product before, or have seen it used?

I ordered two different sizes of these a few weeks ago and they arrived last week. I was so excited to pick them up but as soon as I opened them I knew immediately neither was right. They are a true champagne gold color (not yellow like brushed brass normally is) but unfortunatley nothing like Delta's champagne bronze.

I was so disappointed because several people in the comments said it was a perfect match. Not sure if there was a change in the color or manufacturer, but at least what I received was nothing close.

@HU-722003621 Did you receive a response to your latest email to the Installers Depot? Strange that they would specifically tell you they had the correct color and still send the incorrect one.

@Brian Biondi Yes, I sent him a photo and he said they will make it right and he's sorry for the mistake. I told him I couldn't wait for a replacement because our tile was scheduled to be installed this past Monday and asked for a refund. To be honest, I don't know if it was a mistake or if they think what they sent me is actually the lighter color. If it were me, I wouldn't trust placing the order online for this elusive Dural brushed bronze anywhere. I would only do it over the phone and speak to someone who can confirm they'll ship you the right color (if it even exists anymore). The Dural brass high gloss turned out really nice but I know it's expensive. Somewhere along my search, someone said a brand called Blanke has a "royal champagne" color that matches. Haven't seen it myself though.

@BUILD ONE CONSTRUCTION Thanks for the link. The picture looks a little light, but I ordered 3 sticks anyways just to take a chance. I saw @Jenna Wisar comments about it, so I'm not that hopeful. Maybe I'll live with it if its at least complementary to Delta's color. I had it shipped to my local store, so if its not a match I can give it right back to them for a refund. I'll take some pics when I get it.

In my opinion its not necessarily lighter, but the champagne bronze has more of a brown/bronze color where as the champagne is more of a brighter/whiter gold, or at least the ones I received are. But depending on the lighting in your space some brands may appear closer. I found two at Floor and Decor this week that have a antique bronze color that is very close in the store. I looked at Schluter and one other brand (although I don't remember off the top of my head what it was) and they both had an antique bronze color that in the store looked very close with my trim piece. Unfortunately once I got the piece home it ended up being too dark in the space because my bathroom has no natural light and doesn't have all the final electrical fixtures installed, so I may have to skip ahead to get those in so I can have a better idea of the final lighting. I can't remember which brand the picture below is but both the Schluter L shaped trim piece in antique bronze and the Laticrete L shaped trim in antique bronze were very close. I actually thought the Laticrete color was slightly closer in store. I'll attach links so you have the sku numbers, but their online pictures are much darker than they appear in person.

    https://www.flooranddecor.com/laticrete-installation-materials/laticrete-l-shape-edge-3-8in.-anodized-aluminum-profile--LA116.html

    https://www.flooranddecor.com/schluter-installation-materials/schluter-schiene-edge-trim-5-16in.-aluminum--S1170.html?dwvar_S1170_color=Brushed%20Bronze&quantity=1

Like I said in the store they were almost a perfect match, but once I brought it home they looked much different. But maybe some of you might be luckier than I was and this could work for you.

I actually spoke to a friend who has spray painted several plumbing fixtures in her own home with great success, and she said I might just want to try doing that since its mostly decorative and not going to be touched or really used much. I'm also considering using Rub n Buff if anyone is familiar with that product. It's an oil based paint like product but has a beautiful metal/metalic finish to it. They have a variety of gold colors and I'm confident I could either choose one similar or mix some of the colors they have to get a perfect color. My friend said in the areas that she anticipated her fixtures to experience high use she primed them with auto primer and has had no peeling or chipping of the paint and she's going on over a year of regular use in her master bathroom shower. So if I'm worried about the adhesion I'll do that first. It's a last resort obviously, but I don't live anywhere near a Tile Shop and online it says that its an instore only product.

These cabinet pulls match Delta Champagne Bronze. I am still trying to find trim tile edge to match it!

    https://a.co/d/7X1sNpz

Update: The trim I ordered from Home Depot was a bust. I would say it was complementary, but certainly not a match. I returned those. Then, I started over with the whole process that @HU-722003621 went through above. I contacted Dural to get their opinion and they gave me an item # and referred me to theinstallersdepot.com I then talked to installers Depot and they sent me a photo of what they had in stock. I ordered and received those items. I wouldn't call it a 100% match, but it's the closest I have found so far, by far. It all depends on the angle, lighting, background, etc... Sometimes i swear it's identical, and sometimes its a little off. Hard to explain, but if you've been through this journey you probably know what I'm talking about. I have found it to be acceptable and anyone that's not studying it, likely won't even notice. I have certainly found that it's really hard to remodel a bathroom when you are picky AND cheap....lol. I've managed to do it so far, but that's why this one small bathroom is taking a year to finish.

Here are the photos for what they are worth. You probably also discovered that the picture rarely matches reality, but I tried to take a few different angles. I think the trim lacks that tiny hint of rose that my eyes see in the Champagne Bronze.

Good Luck everyone, and if you find a matching sliding glass door, let me know!

I appreciate the update @Brian Biondi I completely understand the struggle. I purchased the vanity for this bathroom over a year ago on an amazing end of season sale and am almost 6 months into the renovation portion. Trying to find budget friendly, quality pieces has been my challenge as well. I will be looking into ordering this. It seems like it will likely be the closest and most affordable option. And at this point I just need it to be close enough. Most normal people won't see the difference and I just have to remind myself that. While you/I might know or notice, it's likely nobody else will be able to tell.

This post was very helpful for me which led me to finding my solution in purchasing the best match trim to the Delta Champagne Bronze fixtures. I used Installers Depot to order the Dural Brushed Bronze mentioned in these earlier posts. I called them directly and glad I did. It is correct that there seems to be 2 versions of color from Dural. Wyatt at Installers Depot was extremely helpful, knew exactly what I needed and shipped out the trim next day which was a life saver because I needed it quickly. I had bought about 5 other color versions from Floor & Decor and Home Depot and nothing really came close. This is the definitely the best match. Although not exact, it will absolutely work.

I have been looking everywhere also for trim to match the Delta champagne bronze. I'm so glad I found this thread. I called and spoke with Wyatt at Installers Depot and he was extremely helpful. I was able to order them with Wyatt's help and hopefully I will get them next week. I never thought finding trim would be this hard! Thank you everyone for the info on this thread. It was a great help.

Hello, did any of you try the royal champagne one from tile bar?

    https://www.tilebar.com/essential-royal-champagne-3-8-l-shape-tile-edge-protector-trim.html

Hello, this post was very helpful for me so hoping to add my experience to the collective knowledge. I was trying to match the Hansgrohe brushed bronze, which is more similar to the Kohler vibrant btrushed bronze than the Delta champagne bronze. I had looked at all of the Schluter at Floor & Decor as well as Laticrete (Laticrete actually had one that matched quite well but I decieded if I had to err I was going to err on the lighter rather than the darker side). I got samples from both Blanke and Durol **SHOUT OUT TO WYATT AT INSTALLERS DEPOT FOR THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE**.

This is the Blanke: brushed titanium bronze on the left and 2 different shades of the titanium bronze on the right.

This is the Durol: all 3 are supposed to be the brushed bronze (noted to have different shades as mentioned above).

This is the Blanke titanium bronze on the left (on the ring) and the Durol brushed bronze on the right.

And a different Durol brushed bronze on the left with the Blanke titanium bronze on the right (on the ring).

I ultimately decided on the Blanke titanium bronze because we were going for a mid-century modern look and the brushed bronze was a bit too shiny.

Happy to share/ship the Durol samples if anyone would like them!
