Help - our black exterior/white interior windows look ridiculous

We "splurged" and got Anderson E series windows, black exterior with white interior. I feel dumb - this is how they came and the white (vinyl) exterior is very visible at our entrance. On reviewing the order, it does say white window jamb (and also says black exterior) but I had no idea it would look like this. Still waiting to hear back from Andersen but does anyone have advice or input on what they would do? We will have white trim so maybe it's not so bad? My husband is furious. Thanks for any advice.

How were they purchased? Did you buy them, supplied by the GC/Builder etc.?

Our builder bought them for us but both of us reviewed the order. He clearly is putting this on the window company though when we talked with him...

Put the screen on the window. The jamb is far less noticeable. You only see that on the lower sash, the upper is covered.

This is not abnormal. I don't know if that particular line has an option for the outside half of the jamb to be painted black, but many that use a jamb liner don't. The jambs match the interior color (most times), and the exterior color is on all exterior surfaces. In some cases the jamb liner is a third color entirely, I can't imagine how furious your husband would be then?!

Even IF a black jamb is available, you'd still see that from the inside on the upper half instead of the lower. You are going to see a color other than the face that you are looking at one way or the other when you have a two toned window. There is no way around that.

We just had Windsor windows installed in a new build. We are not happy at all. We have 3 different colors! We ordered black exterior with white interior. We have that, but the jamb is creme color. The jambs don’t match the exterior or interior. We are calling the builder on Monday and they will have to figure out how to fix this. The sample of window in the store and in the pictures we were shown looked nothing like this. What we saw was completely black exterior.

Looks like that bottom flange is taped in as well. That's a red flag as well.
