I'm buying this house with ugly Pebble Tec flooring in the Kitchen, Laundry Room, and Bathroom.
Please tell me someone knows how to get rid of it, or if something like tile can lie on top of it.
There are other options than grinding and the huge mess of dust that creates. Is this floor adhered to concrete or some other kind of substrate, like plywood?
Contact manufacturers of SLU's (Self Leveling Underlayment's). Ardex, Laticrete, Mapei etc.
Sealers, subfloor / substrate, primers, wood trim and more need to be considered.

There is concreate under, this flooring is probably the worst idea anyone could have done.
It has such a thick layer of Epoxy.
There are various powered machines that could probably remove that. Here is one example:
These are expensive, but I am sure you can get something like this at a tool rental place.
