Wall Color HELP -Master Bedroom w/ Black+Brown bed & beige carpeting

The whole house is going to be Snowbound white - Sherwin Williams. My research shows people use black/dark grays as accent and whole bedroom color. DH is not for it. I have dark maple flooring and cabinets, all black or white furniture. What accent wall and bedroom color can I choose? I don't want cool or too warm colors. I appreciate any help!

Picture shown is before painting. I don't have a pic of the master bedroom right now but it's black and dark brown bed with tray ceiling. I was considering Passive for the room but I'm not sure it will contrast enough with Snowbound.
