Has anyone used a SkyCove window (modern bay window)? Pros / Cons?

Hi all! We're getting ready to buy and update a ranch-style house that we hope to live in for quite some time. The house has a large window in the front for the living room -- I'm guessing probably 8 feet wide.

One thing I've always wanted is a window that sticks out with a little reading nook in it. A modern apartment I lived in 20-ish years ago had one and I'd spend hours there reading.

While adding a bay window or bow window could get me this space, I'm really worried about those options feeling too out-dated.

So, imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this SkyCove concept from Marvin windows:

It would get me the seating space I want, but would look much sleeker than frumpy old-fashioned bay windows.

It's a pretty new product, and I'm not able to find much info about it.

Anyone here try one of these yet? If so:

- Pros?

- Cons?

- Cost?

Do other window-makers have a similar product that I simply haven't found yet?

Would love to hear from anyone who has thoughts!

Thank you!
