bathroom vanity sinks not centered with the cabinets- mirrors?

Our bathroom vanity sinks are not centered with our cabinets (this vanity is not cusgom$.

Is this odd? How do we center 2 mirrors on top of the sinks? Centered with sinks or vanity?

I had this with my old condo and our vanity was custom. I centered the sinks with mirrors.

Center the mirrors on the sinks

We think centering the mirrors with the sinks will really ties everything together nicely and help hide the fact that the sinks are off center.

Yikes, that would drive me crazy, But can imagine that by hanging 2 mirrors instead of one large one may help tie them together better visually.

I would not settle for anything less than having the top remade. This is a glaring error that I would not be able to live with.

How did this happen? Clearly the plumber did not have the correct centerlines and plumbed the sinks in the wrong spots. This should have been caught at the drawing stage, assuming you had the vanity you wanted from the beginning. If you purchased the vanity afterwards, then you should have made sure the cabinet centerlines were aligned with the faucets.

Water under the bridge, however. I don't think you can re-plumb without tearing out the cabinet and the wall tile. So take the suggestion above of getting rectangular mirrors that are centered on the sinks.

It is somehow very much intentional :

    Huh. Well that's...odd. :-)

Not sure I'd spend more money to fix it.

That's bizarre. I suppose it was to give you useable space on each side of the sink, but you've lost the use of the top center drawer. At this point I'd just line up the mirrors with the sinks.

It looks like you are planning for a single light fixture in the center of the wall rather than sconces in between mirrors. It would be a shame to cover up all that pretty tile, but I'd consider one long rectangle to blur the differences rather than align with the sinks but be "off" from the cabinets. In any case, put up painter's tape or cut out shapes from butcher paper to get a feel for how various options look. You don't want to drill holes in the tile until you are sure!!

If your stuck with it as is, i would do one large mirror. two seems make the off center issue more noticeable. the above picture shows two mirrors used as one

From the product photo, the two mirrors joined together at least distracts better from what is going on below.

I came across this featured photo on houzz, and you can see faucet is not center. Still a lovely set up, so fret no more!

I agree with Idecor. Try one nice big mirror. Frankly, I’ve had both - large mirrors and double small mirrors. Practically speaking, the single large mirror is more useful.
