The front of the house gets the afternoon sun - hot in the summer. The back of the house gets the morning sun and the evening shade. The back will have a pool.

This is an old thread that was revived by a spammer yesterday. I trust the homeowner has resolved their dilemma. Perhaps they could post a photo of the completed work.

What is your question? There are a lot of new homes being built in St. George, Utah. It's a desert area and most of the yards are xeriscaped with lots of the plentiful red rock gravel and desert friendly, drought tolerant plants.

We mean it is really difficult to help you without photos. We need a distance shot, like from across the street, of the entire area you are dealing with. Please get a few different perspectives. People are usually very willing to offer ideas but have to have some context provided by you.
