Hey Everyone,

We r renovating a house in florida on the water and the house is facing south. It gets so hot in the afternoon in the living area since its in the south side but also the water view is super nice (south side as well) so I really want to keep the view as clear as possible. So obviously I need lowE but am between those 2 choices from pgt. Energy Shield Max vs Solar Control LowE (but impact windows)

Energy shield:

pros: VT 0.48

Cons: -Sun is too bright when I look thro it. -Green tint.

Solar control:

Pros: -Gray tint. -Higher protection from heat and sun
-Sun reflection on the water doesnt look as bright.

Cons: -VT 0.3 (and 0.26 for sliding doors) -Make the house a little darker.

Did u have to choose between both before? Any advice?
