    Whenever I think gray, I think Alaska as we had so much gray skies, gray clouds, gray water...and this gray and white seagull who visited our balcony one day.

    at the Grand Canyon (shot years ago on film, so the quality isn't up to snuff). I called this photo "shades of gray", so I knew what photo to choose today

    Nine years ago, DD adopted Fred. I think she was matching the dog to her sofa at the time.

    I hope I don't become known as the lizard lady, but here is one on our gray house that has turned gray and caught a dragonfly for breakfast. I love lizards and dragonflies. :(

    After Ellie got home from her last surgery, we spooned on the floor for a long time. She loves to spoon with me, and vice versa. Love my Ellie.

    There is a story to go along with the photo, but it became long and I didn't want to hijack the thread, so I deleted. You're welcome. LOL

    The lampshade is gray. We had a sleepover with my great-grandson and obsessed with Mario. He put the Mario hat on my sculpture piece before we got up. LOL

    My shower in Cathedral City. I used 24" square Italian tiles for the walls. I also especially like the way the pebbles on the floor feel on my feet.

    My gray birdbath right off our front portal seating area, with a darling gray bunny in it getting a drink. It was amazing to actually be there to see this AND with my cell phone in my hand to get this pic!

    A small Storm Mountain flagstone patio I'm building. It's still a work in progress and my first time building a patio. I haven't finished setting all of the stone and obviously will be adding sand in the joints still.

    Closeup of the waterfalls on the pondless water feature I built that is next to the above in progress patio. I'm looking forward to sitting on my little patio next to the water feature and enjoying the sound.

    I don’t have any gray in the house or on one of our cars. This is from Beijing and it’s called the Marble Boat. The sky is still a little gray, too, from the smog, but it got better during the day.

    Sue wins. lol. Darn, I should have thought of that because other than pots and pans I had to look outside.

    Jakabedy, i think you have some catching up to do?!!!

    @mtnrdredux_gw, thank you — it’s been a journey!

    @eld6161, you’re right. I need to do an update thread. I’ll work on that this week. Spoiler alert: it’s all good.
