did you have it last year ... could it be normal for this cultivar ...

if not.. i might suspect a water issue ... since outdoors we can probably rule out a light issue ..

I did hybridize C. Orange Punch along with many others years ago. Many of those cultivars have succumbed to the canna virus that invaded our canna cultivars.

Remember that all cultivars or seed generated plants growth habits are primarily limited to the genetics (DNA) of each individual clone group.

how long from seed harvest to first flower?? ... is it a matter of years to grow the rhizome??

or can an expert grower do it faster .. presumably to use the pollen for further development if useful?
