Can I mix black and chrome withIN a shower stall?

We are stuck with either brushed nickel or chrome for the shower trim (round thing with a handle that turns the water on/off), but I already have installed a black sink faucet in this relatively small bathroom (it is used by two young men). The vanity cabinet is black (with chrome and black handles), walls are painted pretty black, floor is charcoal; vanity top/sink is white, acrylic shower stall is white, wooden trim and door in bathroom are painted white. Mirror is plain flat large mirror. I ordered shower doors which only came in silver color (not sure if they are more similar to a brushed nickel or a chrome finish).

I still need to purchase a wall light for above the vanity, door knob/hinges for doorway, and the shower parts, such as the shower-trim plate/handle mentioned above, shower arm/flange, hand-shower head and its 'cord' (or whatever it's called), tub spout, and drain cover plate (or leave the one I have which is chrome). I did buy bath accessories already like a towel rod, paper holder, and robe hooks in a chrome finish, but they can be returned if needed.

My plan was to put black against the white sink and shower, and then chrome/brushed nickel against the black walls (ie light, towel rod, etc.), however I have unfortunately discovered that I can only get chrome, brushed nickel, or possibly ORB as the shower-trim to fit my old shower valve (which we have already done our renos to the bathroom and decided against ripping the acrylic shower out just to change the very old shower valve). So therefore, I could mix the metals within the shower stall with the chrome or brushed nickel shower trim, and the rest black, or I could do them all in chrome or brushed nickel... but then my sink faucet is all alone in its blackness. Which way would you go? Please help, I am so terrible at making decisions, I drive myself and everyone else nuts.
