Experience with Safecoat Acrylacq Matte?

Hello,

We are renovating our kitchen using the Ikea + Scherr's combo, with MDF cabinet doors/drawer fronts/end panels. We're going to use an oil-based primer (Benjamin Moore Fresh Start Multi-Purpose Oil Primer) and Benjamin Moore Advance paint, and I'd like to reduce VOCs from the primer + MDF.

I came across AFMs products, and Safecoat Acrylacq Matte seemed like a good option (we're doing Advance with satin finish). Does anyone have experience with this product? I called their technical support line and the person I spoke to was helpful but very sales-y, which always concerns me a bit.

Thanks!

    The VOC's of BM's Oil-Primer are so short-lived! Basically.....it's a Non-issue.

    Advance' VOC's are pretty low. 0....no....but below 100g/l.....it's near-meaningless.

There are far.....FAR more important things to think about in Life!
