We just moved into a home with an open floor plan living/dining/kitchen. The open dining area has a long wall nook so we want to buy a buffet/sideboard. The table is a “brunette” finish. In the other photos you can see we have a dark wood media cabinet in another wall nook and next to it a small bar cabinet in a lighter finish.
Questions:
Should we remove the small bar cabinet since it is such a contrast to the darker media cabinet?
What style and finish buffet would look best with the dining table?
If we were to add cabinets on either side of the fireplace, would white cabinets with a dark wood top look okay?
