We have a very large, ceiling height fire place that will be the focal point of the room. But we also have this large cedar wall diagonal from the fireplace. What would you do with it?
Prime the cedar, and paint it the wall color., Or tear the cedar off, and drywall and then paint it the wall color.
Will the ballasters and newels be stained with the floor too? With everything getting a muted grey look, the cedar will look beautiful. I’m mostly confused about the window overlooking the kitchen in the wall. Can that entire wall come down to create an open space?
what is a good accent wallpaper for my bedroom
Want to change this "blue" accent wall.
This hurts my eyes - want a modern, neutral room - better pics
My bath accent wall I know what I want just can't find it.
Those are all really good points. The handrail will be black, spindles white and risers the color of the floor. We will eventually open up the kitchen to the dining room, and would really like to cover up that random window overlooking the kitchen. We kind of need that wall for more counter/cabinet space.
Are you replacing the flooring?
Staining them a lighter oak
