Excellent looking trees. Amazing amount of production for container trees. In the last photo of the Clementine-Yuzu tree, it is amazing for such a large tree in such a small container. You must have to water it frequently.

bonsai... I don't have a Ponkan. I have a Shiranui, which is part Ponkan. I have heard that Ponkan is very good though!

OH, so the Dekopon I got from Harris Citrus Nursery a number of years ago. That nursery seems to not have much in stock these days. Hurricanes and HLB have probably taken their toll on many of the Florida citrus growers. HOWEVER, Madison Citrus nursery (in Georgia) has them and for a good price (as long as you're not in AZ, CA, FL, LA, or TX)..

Can these tolerate being held on a cold porch like my other citrus? Or do they need constant heat to thrive?

Dave. Hi. It’s the Dekopan I just ordered. Where would you grow it all winter? Inns warm greenhouse or a cold porch ?
I just can’t seem to keep any of Harris trees alive. Ugh

Mike: I keep all mine in a coolish garage, with not very good light. So, the coldest it gets on the concrete floor is probably around 45 degrees. On sunny days it can warm up to 65ºF. But if you have a sunny, warm greenhouse, your good! They'll keep growing and probably bloom earlier.

Good for you, using Madison. I like their selection. And you've really got to pounce on some of these varieties because they seem to sell out quickly. I'd rather use them than 4 Winds, since Madison is East Coast and shipping takes much less time.

What is the mandarin you added pics of?

I've had no problem with Harris citrus, it's just that they have so few varieties right now. I even got a tiny Logees 'Shasta Gold' to grow well. Their small plants can be a challenge. But I couldn't find it anywhere else at the time.
