I would wallpaper all four walls in a small room for maximum impact. A laundry room is not a living space, so why would it matter if a wall treatment made the room seem smaller? I’d offer the same advice for a powder room, by the way. Have fun and go as bold as you like!

Yea, wallpaper it all (well, I wouldn't do the ceiling, though). A doggie print sounds like fun and will make you smile every time you look at it - post pics when you're done!

if you like the paper then all walls. I just did all 4 walls in a small powder room 3 x 7. I added crown and painted ceiling and crown semi gloss white vs flat white (the ceiling was smooth so it could handle the gloss. It really brightens and just gives the room a wow factor. I love wallpaper and 20 years ago pretty much had it in all rooms LOL. Now just the small bath. I am thinkin about doing a wall in my kitchen. My sons came home and saw the bath and ask me if I was going to paper everything again LOL. They were giving me ideas. They are in their 20s almost 30 now. It actually makes them feel comfortable happy. It reminds them of their childhood. :)

Thank you for the reply. This gives me confidence to move forward and do all 4 walks. I like the added idea for adding crown and using semi gloss in the ceiling. I’m going to do that to complete the room.

Not walks- walls

I’ve wallpapered bathrooms and they are a pain; a laundry room will be as well, or more so. To save all the finicky cuts, your time and the extra cost, I’d pick a prominent wall and only paper it. Once you add accessories, such as a runner, pictures, pendant, a fun paint color on walls, cabinets or the ceiling (or just paper it) you can have an impactful room with lots of personality.

Thank you for your opinion. It is a good point you bring up. I may do just 1 wall and put a picture on the longest wall. I'm painting the cabinets now. So yes, you have me rethinking papering 3 walls (i wasnt planning to paper the wall behind the washer & dryer).

A large blue floral paper will be easy to find. Love this one and the bonus is that it’s removable peel and stick, which would be much easier for a ceiling application.
