Tape off both sizes on your floor and see which you like better. Hard to tell without images of openings, furniture, etc...so if you could post a picture you might get more responses.

Some area rugs come in an 8' X 8' size. Also, go to any carpet store and they will have remnants for sale that can be cut and bound to any size you want. Usually the remnants are in popular colors so it's not too hard to find one you like. Sometimes this also means you can get something higher quality at a better price.

I need to see the space I usually do not like rugs in an office space . I think a rug in the space will mostly be under the bed whan that is in use so I need pics of the spac e.

Thanks for the feedback. The room is currently empty as we just had the floors redone so I can't really send a pic but I like the idea of taping it off. I'll do that once the furniture goes back in.
