We are building a house and am very conflicted on the exterior. We are building in an established neighborhood with houses between 20 years to 1 year old. There are lots of tall pine trees in the neighborhood. A majority of the houses are brownish and reddish brick, some darker/neutral cement shingle homes. I want our home to blend in but not be dull. We aren't 100% set on having the brick exterior, but that is what is currently showing on our exterior elevations. I love the look of painted brick but hear so many conflicting opinions. Just curious if anyone has thoughts or ideas they would want to share. I've also received feedback from a previous post about bulking up the posts by the front door, just don't have an updated elevation yet. TIA
