Wow! For once I got the bonus easily 😊

B2& D3 are eluding me, tho...

WHEW (wiping sweat from brow)! I beginning to think you had perhaps forsaken us poor puzzle junkies.

Just kidding, but I'm sure happy to see Sunday's' game appear, along with the dead easy bonus.

    :^)

Well, it took me a minute to get the bonus, and I’m still working on 3 others. It always helps to talk them out with someone. They guys are busy, I wonder where the cat is?

Today is the date of the 3rd year of Tom's passing. I wanted to keep busy, so I got up early and made pastry, enough for 5 crusts for the freezer. It's a beautiful day so got 2 other friends and we went for a 1 hour and a half walk in the trails. A good workout. I had just gotten back not long ago so posted it.

I love that you all enjoy these!

Jasdip, wishing you heartfelt sympathy today. Treasure the memories of your late husband. It’s wonderful that you have good friends to enjoy a beautiful day.🙂

Thinking of you on this day. I so like that picture of Tom that you have posted before. Take care and thanks for indulging us and our puzzles on this day.

I love that you are making the best of the day. Take some time to feel sad. I cant believe you took the time to make us happy. Thank you.

    Thinking of you today.

Aww, gee, Jasdip, I had no idea. Thanks for thinking of us today, and I sincerely hope you've been able to focus on the good memories. They are priceless.

I've got answers for ail of today's puzzle, but I'm not real sure about A1 and A3. The answers I have for them are just too plain and simple to be right. Am I over thinking again?

Is the word in the middle of D2 ”or”, ”O1’ ”,or something else?

    bpath, it’s OL’

    I’m just missing A3 and B2.

    Jasdip, thinking of you today.

Thanks, letters, that got it for me.

I got the bonus right away too for once. I think I have the rest except C2. I wasnt sure about D2 until you clarified what is in the middle and that cinched it. It looked like ’or’ on my ipad.

I'm just missing D2. Although I could be wrong on some of them.

Jasdip, sending hugs your way and hope you are reminded of the good memories of Tom.

Figured out A3, still missing B2.

Need B2, D3, and more confidence in A1.

I’m not doing well. Keep coming back but am only positive on 7 of them plus bonus. Of the remaining 5 I’ve got 3 maybes and 2 no idea. B2 and D3 are the no ideas.

Hope it's OK to give a hint?

This is for my answers - maybe correct, maybe not...

    I think B2 is a mineral.

And I believe D3 is the word 'air' - observe what's being done to it.

That makes sense if the word is air but the I is missing the lower piece so i thought it was atr albiet the top bar was short for a T. The mineral didnt help me yet!

Almost 24 hrs…close enough for hints.

@carolb_w_fl_coastal_9/10 - I did think of that for B2, but what would be the significance of the size and placement of the letters? That’s what’s making me doubt that answer.

I’d love to give another hint for D3, but my keyboard has a bunch of crumbs in it, making it difficult to type - maybe I should go find some canned keyboard cleaner….

For D3 I just assumed that the middle letter was an I that had half disappeared.

For B2 I don't think the the size of letters has anything to do with the answer but rather the placement of the letter z with respect to the letter c does. .Where is z with respect to c and write it out.

    I still don't have D2

letters - if you see some of my words run together it's because my spacebar is jammed due to crumbs.

Ooooh, THAT mineral….got it! (I was thinking of the other, primarily fake mineral!). Thanks, blfenton! By the way, for D2, think really old boat.

@bpath re: A1, I think it’s what you think it is. My answer is that simple.

@OutsidePlaying, if you still don’t have C2, think Christopher Lloyd.

All this talk of minerals and then the old boat clue I think I finally figured out D2.

Sherlock Holmes might tell you that the answer to B2 is elementary.

I just got D2. Thanks for the hint.

For D3, I see the serifs on the A and R but nothing on the middle letter. Both T and I would have a serif, so it's not clear such letter it is. If it's I, then I have it, with no crumbs (because I have a virtual keyboard lol)

Well my clue for D2 would be 'choo choo'.

Quite a number of these are scientific this time, I notice.

    1. Blue-green algae

    2. Big Bang

    3. Double Helix

    1. Peripheral vision

    2. Zinc (Z in C)

    3. First thing in the morning

    1. Step ladder

    2. Travel back in time

    3. Hot under the collar

    1. Square dance

    2. Ol' Ironsides

    3. Compressed Air

    And Forgotten Heroes

    A1 - I missed the blue part

B1 - Ah, peripheral. closest i got was distorted

C2 - Missed it which really annoys me considering the hint

    🙁

Well, dang. DH said "peripheral vision"which I had also thought of, but I had settled on "over-arching vision".

    Thanks, jasdip!

I had tunnel vision, thinking the shape of the letters was forming the outside of a train tunnel - ha!

    Thank you, Jasdip!

Whew! Better late than never, Jasdip.

    We A E I O _

    (Missed you) 😀

    Thanks, Jasdip

I thought I had them all, but I had Tunnel Vision for B1. It looked like a tunnel to me and I never gave it another thought, haha! Oh, and i missed the blue part of A1 too.

I finally got C2, which left me SMH. It was easy really and I guess I was over-thinking it.

Thanks again Jasdip for the fun.

A1 looks green on my monitor, so I missed the blue part, too. And while I did have 'Double helix' for A3, I really didn't think it was right because it seemed way too obvious. Do you suppose they do that just to confuse us? If so, it worked!

Oh boy - For B1 I had 180 Vision and for D3 I had deflated. Compressed air is cute.

    Thanks Jasdip.
