I only moved into my own home in mid-March so changes were from my previous interim rental, a furnished studio that I did some furniture moving in.

First, I added my gorgeous art (that had been in storage) to the walls plus a couple of new pieces.

Second, I got rid of my headboard. I realized I don't like them at all. Now I have a nice clean wall with an oversized canvas print (as I live in earthquake country) print of one of my favorite paintings, Nighthawks by Edward Hopper.

Third, I hope to be able to seam coat and paint the room within a year. Instead of the BM Chantilly Lace I have throughout the home I think I will go with a lovely shade of green (not sage or olive).

Painted room a very pale blue, new rug. Now looking to add some pillows and trying to decide if it is worth it to reupholster my mother's Quenn Anne chair

I purchased a Dr. Oz queen adjustable bed and frame, it's wonderful.

We upgraded to a King bed this year, including a new mattress that doesn't make me sore. Totally red-did the palette with earthy warm colors in a rug and duvet cover and pillows. I scored a gorgeous chair on FB MP that my cats love. We finally mounted the tv at a correct height. I got a tall antique cabinet for undergarments and pajamas. Still looking for nightstands I actually like to replace the Ikea ones we've had for 8 years and are a little small next to our bed. Next on the to-do is to repaint in a warm color (we have North exposure), add some molding to the walls, and figure out what to do with the sunroom off the bedroom.

In the guest bedroom, changed the bed, bedding and accessories. A much needed change!

Paint, closet system and new ceiling fan. Kept the spouse. Large sunk cost. :-)

And you never know if the new model will actually perform better!

I replaced a plain cream rug with a gorgeous hand knotted antique- swapped out comforter and curtains to a solid white to pull the white silk highlights out of the rug.

Kept same noisy model, just upgraded pillow for ear ;^)

1 - Moved in. Prolonged process thanks to the pandemic!

2 - Switched to a king-bed (put queen in the guest room). Bought new bedspread.

3 - Bought a different bedframe, more like the queen's (sleigh bed). Bought another new bedspread.

4 - Bought a "painting" print on canvas to tie everything together.

Replaced old and outdated vertical blinds with pretty curtain rods and color coordinated curtains in the guest bedroom and office.

Replaced the colonial trim with 4” plain trim, all painted Chantilly Lace, raised the curtian rod to just 2” below ceiling and hung linen white sheer drapes, ( pull down blind behind). it really brightened the room!!! Fresh coat of Gray Cashmere paint on the walls. very relaxing.

The faux stone wall panels are very suitable for classical and modern architecture. Product irregular fabrics freely use light and shadow to play. This is completely visible in a sunny or well-lit space. https://taidecortile.com/product/wholesale-faux-stone-wall-panels/
