About 8 years ago my mom bought me a tabletop book, 'Christmas with the First Ladies'. I bring it out every year and flip through it; I'm amazed at the amount of work the volunteers do to bring Christmas alive at the White House.

I recently learned you can buy White House ornaments back to the first ones of 1984. And there's so many other ornaments, as well.

...including 78,750 dazzling lights, more than 10,000 ornaments, 6,000 feet of ribbon and 41 Christmas trees.

Let's not forget the gingerbread White House!!!
