its probably the end of a trend that I welcomed in 2021 (the end of the all white kitchen trend it needed to end IMO yes its beautiful but I have just seen to much of those.

Light wood cabinets (kitchen and bath). Rethinking the floorplan for individual needs. Home as Sanctuary.

Color! Wood! And steering away from two tone a bit more. I don’t hate that Joanna Gains type white modern farmhouse look, but everyone got too carried away with it! Color, texture and character, thank goodness.

I’m very drawn to Japandi, for its warm, natural and calm vibe. It‘s simple, interesting, and creative with attention to details. Has versatility, based on the prominent influence chosen (MCM, Scandi, Asian) and therefore opportunities increase for creativity and individuality.

I have a 1938 home with smaller, separated rooms. I try to keep the house true to its age, but also need light to make me happy. Of the 3 rooms on the main floor, 2 are light and bright with grays, whites, silver and white wallpaper, etc. And one room is dark, and cozy.

I'm looking forward to seeing the return of the darker jewel-toned colors in rooms large enough to handle them.

Embracing individualism and the return of color. Separate spaces instead of open concept for everyone.
