There is an unusal hummingbird sighting/visit that’s been going on near here since November! Not an Anna’s of course but a rare bird here - particularly at this time of year! DH is a ’birder’ as is the lady at the house where it has been visiting the feeder. Here is one of his puctures of it: https://www.flickr.com/photos/26679916@N03/51690519152/in/photostream/ 

We were talking to the lady yesterday as she passed our house and she said the bird is still visiting the feeder! I doubt it will survive true winter temperatures when they inevitably arrive….

Anna's have more cold tolerance than one would expect.
