4 x 6 is a standard size i think - tape that out & see how it fits space

Thank you . Yea 4x6 is a standard size . But my entry at measures 5x4 ..may be an option is to use 4x4 ?

@Ashraf Peedi is the 5’ measurement from door to end of wall? Cant’t see the ’front” end much past the wall but if it’s open space, the rug can go into it past that wall. Otherwise, another option might be 3’x 5’ which is also a standard rug size. A square 4x4 might work but I’d like to have floor showing all around the edges. Using a standard size does give you many more choices & all price ranges..

wall to wall ( width ) is 5' . This is the entrance width...This includes door width of 3' .

@Ashraf Peedi link above is to 4’ square rugs at that rug site. I agree that’s best option if you want to keep rug strictly inside the 5‘W x 4’ L entry space. To balance the width, how about a narrow 10” - 12” deep x 36” to 40” ish or so long console type table to place on window side of door. Hang art or a mirror above & you have a nice entry set up with a place to set things on as you come in front door.

Yes, Ashraf, I think that would work too & you could then have a deeper table.. You’ll want to keep the table legs off rug & table should be maybe no wider than that entry window including the casing around window. For the rug I suggest setting up a visual aid. Either tape out on the floor the exact size of rug or use a folded sheet or bath towels. I find that so helpful Also,be aware that most area rug measurements aren’t quite exact & some measurements include any fringe on rug ends. I’ve ordered 6’ rugs that were 3” longer - no fringe & 24” wide that were 23” actual. Pay attention to any reviews on a rug if you order on line!,
