2 items stand out to me - the curtains and the sink. The sink/granite/wood are out of sync with the rest of the bathroom. I think the curtains and rod need to go, and maybe simple horizontal blinds for the window. A nice wide pedestal sink maybe?

You appear to be in desperate need of proper storage. Suggest a custom built cabinet with drawers (have the sink cavity made as small as possible), cabinet in white with white Corian top. Find a matching blue sink and have fun with wallpaper - so many choices!

Love the tile and tub! Agree the cabinet needs to be replaced with something simpler, probably cream/white to match the tub/toilet. Another affordable upgrade would be to replace all of the fixtures -- towel racks, bath hardware, lights, etc. with more era-appropriate pieces (simple). Since you lack wall space for towels, consider using hooks instead. My bathroom is tiny and going with hooks made a huge difference. I like the flooring -- on my monitor it complements the tile. Remove the vanity, light fixture, towel bars/mirrors, and extraneous storage piece. Install fresh modern wallpaper that works with the green tile, so it feels intentional. Add a “large as possible” white vanity…you have the room. Move the plant on toilet to another room. Install a hotel towel rack above the toilet. Leave the window unadorned or hang a simple cafe curtain on bottom half if privacy is not an issue, otherwise install a cordless Roman shade. Clean and replace tub caulking. New fabric shower curtain/liner. New fixtures in either brushed nickel or satin brass.
If possible, either paint the HVAC register the same shade of green or match it to the fixtures.

Oh and new mirror and towel bar installed on end wall, left of the vanity. Hooks on back of door and to the right of the tub/shower area. I think that does it!
