I do not know your measurements... but to me, it looks like there are two spaces. One is the sofa and tv space and the other the fireplace area. If that is the case, I would push the furniture into the tv space and add a couple of chairs or something of that sort in front of the fireplace.

I could be wrong... but in the photo it does feel like you are using furniture to cover two spaces.

Maybe some more photos would help see the entire space.

you re right, but not enough room to move couch forward to separate rooms. Trying to make into one space with the TV being the focal point. The couch is positioned to still view the fireplace.
