Need help choosing art decor for this wall

This is the dining area of a large, open room. I fell in love with the shutters but don't know how to decorate the remainder of the wall. Would appreciate any help!

I would hang them on the wall. Are they hinged together, or can they be hung about 2-3 inches apart? Get larger diameter curtain rods. Hang the one on the left halfway between the window top and ceiling and about 6" wider than the windows. Then match that height on the right wall. I don't think your panels are wide enough and they will need to be lengthened to just kiss the floor. I would also add another one to the window on the right. That added fullness will take up wall space and that and the shutters will be enough.

You could separate and place higher.

I think that wall needs horizontal art - either three squarish pieces side by side or one large piece. The shutters are lovely, and I'm betting there's a perfect place for them somewhere else in your house.

There are a few elements that need to come together for this room to work.

May I mention the drapes first? they're too short and the rods are too low.

You never want rods right on top of the molding. makes the window look squat.

2-4" above the molding is best. drapes kiss the floor

The dining table against the dark wood floor looks stark. bring in an area rug w/those beautiful blue greens and grays.

    Home Depot has this one

    pier 1

or just do a neutral. this works w/your chairs/mats

for those shutters, you need to hang them on the wall. and maybe seperate them, or put something on either side of them.

Good day. If I were you, I'd decorate the rest of the wall with modern little posters. Looks classy and overall cool. There are plenty of such posters on Aliexpress. Or make decorative plaster, it looks expensive and strict. I need advice, I know it's off topic, but maybe there are knowledgeable people here. I decided to shoot a vlog on apartment design, and in my first video I need to change the background. Does anyone know how to use background remover? Please give me good advice, I will be grateful :)

Since your dining room is traditional I would go with this style.

    Some vision

Thank you all for your feedback! I know that the drapes are too close to the windows. They were a great buy from Pottery Barn, and I loved them, but they didn't have the longer drapes that I wanted. I will have to keep looking for that.

I appreciate ALL the suggestions and comments so much. May I ask Beverly where the light and wall art you mentioned came from?
