Help with alfresco kitchen

I want to build a kitchen on the right side of the alfresco as the left side has a door.Half of the opening will be covered with a wall! The kitchen would have been better on the left side if there was no door! I'm concerned about closing the alfresco and making it dark! Has anyone built an outdoor kitchen in this manner? Please help and share ideas! Thanks
