Hi. What are measurements of the coffee table? How large is your rug? how many feet are between front edges of the one side [of sofa] and the other side?

The coffee table is 46”x26”. Rug is 5x7.

I think it will be tight to have that coffee table there I would do as suggested get some side tables at either end of the sofa and if you have to have a place for the seat in the center pull the ottoman over add a tray. Or move the chairs back a bit get a bigger rug and then a nice coffee table maybe the one you have will work I like it for the space .

If chairs can be moved back (pull rug away from couch a bit) and there will be more room around the coffee table you like.

@everdebz, that makes sense. The room isn't very big. I will try using the ottoman as a table to see how that works. But ideally would have been nice to fit in a coffee table.

@Maureen, thankyou. Wow, the second image looks more like my room :) I will probably push the olive chairs toward the back wall like your last image and see if that gives me more space.

Any suggestions on a table lamp? This is the one I have. I like it for the MCM vibe it gives, but when it lights up, it looks a little too bright in comparison to the other soft light from the floor lamp. It is 2700k.

I think it might be nice to group the plants instead of scattering them around the room. I would look at West Elm for some great lamps.

You can change the bulb in the table lamp so it’s not so bright. I have this lamp from FLOS but as pendant and sconce. Love them!

I also like the table and especially how the gold/brass detail ties in with your curtain rod. Personally I would prefer a proper coffee table than an ottoman, if you can fit it in… best of luck!

Table is small so be sure you use a well proportioned lamp.

I didn't see it mentioned, but why not put the side chairs at the end of the couch? Either one on each end or both on one side.

Lots of legs in this room! I prefer leggy chairs to sit entirely on a rug. Pull the little MCM table forward so people don't have to reach behind them to set something on it. I think that small lamp is a nice size for the table and it echos the same structure a bit. As for the coffee table, you might shop second hand for a smaller scale MCM one.

I’d move ottoman off to side and if green chairs can be moved back a bit, a coffee table will work.

Like the warmth of this table and would work well with rug.

It is preferable to consider a side table between the sofas, but first remove the lamp.

Maybe will you consider the nature stone table?

I would move the ottoman to the near side of the sofa and for coffee table I would do a round table, either a single round table or two round tables next to each other, usually one is higher than the other.
