Despite overwhelming negative reviews, we just purchased the Stressless Mary Loveseat from our local dealer. It’s the $ 4600 fixed model. The special order came in wrong, so the store marked it down to $ 3000. Striking look and very comfortable. The exact color we needed, Paloma silver gray.

My wife is 4”10, I’m 5’7.

We overlooked the negative reviews for 2 reasons.

1. My high end store has been selling these for years. Why would high end stores keep selling a bad product to repeat customers?

2. In My Furniture Forum, the owner stated he likes the brand and tried to get the line, but the bar was too high. High investment, and a dedicated area for the line.

I would like to order the footstool that comes with their chairs. It gives it a better look and added comfort. The store will order it but $ 1300 seems excessive. Also a 30 week wait. We’ll use our 48 inch long gray Stickley leather ottoman while we decide. A darker gray, but still. $ 1300 seems so excessive I might be better off ordering their $ 2500 chair that comes with the footstool. For an extra $ 1200, I get the chair and can move the footstool around as needed.
