IMO you need to not put cabinets sitting on the counter in a baking center and I need to see the actual cabinets to comment on the glass part Ther eis IMO no point in the 30" deep counter if you are covering 16 " with a cabinet now you will only have 14" for work surface that is IMO useless .BTW all the drawers you show are toonarrow to be useful I bet a cabinets sales person designed this space and not in a good way. I use drawers for baking supplies and also for other pans etc either pullouts or drawers IMO a baking center needs real design tha works for how you use the space and honestly a baking center is best with a 30" high counter and IMO mixing the space for 2 very different uses is not the best.

sorry - I guess I didn't explain it well. The actual baking part of the wall is not the area in question. The section in question is for storage of china/serving dishes/silver etc. and will be a bit of a transition to the family room area further to the left. The area where I will be baking is at the right side of the diagram, and the counter is fully exposed for a 60" run of the 30" depth. The countertop will also be lower on this wall. The bottom 2 drawers in the lowers are going to be deep enough to hold my 9 1/2" flour bins. Also - this is only a section of the kitchen - there is also an an island and another section of cabinets/cooktop etc.

I would do three wider doors, you start seeing extreme rectangles otherwise.

I would go with 3 16" cabinets (3 18" would be 54" vs 48").

I would also plan for the sink base to be directly under the window.

Thanks- yep 16”. Oops. I didn’t put the sink under the window so I will have more counter room for baking (and, sadly, the view is a brick wall). It’s not the main sink so I’m not too fussed about it. But you have me rethinking it now….

As for the view - I might create a view if it was a view of a wall. Hanging plants outside your window or window film or something. . .

Hands down you should go with 3 x 16” doors. Enjoy your new kitchen!
