We've used O'Hare-Midway Limo for airport as well as going to events in the city. During a blizzard 8 years ago, they were the only service that would pick up DH and DS from Amtrak and drive them the 30 miles home.

Book early. I called them last summer about a month in advance and they said they were already filling up. The labor shortage affects everyone.

For ever and ever we used Amm's for family funerals and O'Hare vacation runs - don't even know if they exist anymore but they were the standard.

Does the hotel have a concierge service? Ask there.

All right, I got O'Hare Midway limo. Thanks, DLM, too. Yeah, I've normally worked through the concierge/bell desk in past stays, but we are literally just flying in and flying out the next day.

BTW, does anyone know if there is a salon type of place to get a hair blowout/style in O'Hare? I doubt I will have time in the morning before we fly out. Also, if I want my hair to to look decent, if I get it done too early in the day it won't look quite as good. I see there are several locations of the terminal gateway spa.

Yeah, just fingers crossed between weather and Covid this happens. Tour started 1/25 and Volbeat missed one show.

Faron, they didn't play ND but they played Minneapolis last weekend. Nothing in the southeast this go round so that's why we're travelling. Probably not until fall. They go back to Europe next.

I **officially** feel old. I have never even heard of any of those bands. 🥲

I saw Volbeat here just a few years ago in Fargo. They were at the Scheels-Arena Hockey building. Killswitch-Engage opened.

Update: We are back from our trip! Missed the snow on Thursday, and we had no delays on Friday at all. Though it was super COLD and windy--nothing like a 50 degree temperature drop. Staying at the Hilton O'Hare was great because we didn't need to go outside other than getting to the arena and back. The car service worked well, too, and I'd definitely do the same thing again if we need to go to another show there. We had an hour delay on our flight on the way home, but that worked out OK. I'll upload some photos from my phone.

bpath, the squall came in Friday night while we were at the concert, so fortunately not out in it. I wish we could've stayed longer. If it were spring/summer, we'd stay the weekend. But we didn't want to press our luck. Also, I don't have President's day off from school.

DLM, we saw Twin Temple fall 2019 at a place called the Odditorium in Asheville. They were fun in a small club like that.
