I have that tomato slicer, but didn't know the brand. Such a great, and inexpensive, knife!

I love my Rada knives ! I have three different paring knives,tomato knife, cheese knife, peeler, and cook's knife. The tomato knife is extremely sharp and works great - best knife I've ever had for slicing tomatoes.

I knew that sounded familiar - that topic came up last year and I meant to check them out. I think slicing a tomato is one of the best tests for a sharp knire.

Rada cutlery is big in the South, well at least NC and SC. :) Can usually get it form a church ladies' group or the fire department ladies' auxiliary. There's a booth at the flea market down at the beach condo that sells it, so that's my go to for it now. Most of the knives at the condo are Rada, either old form my mother or new from the flea market.

I’ve not heard of it. I do have a specific knife called a ’tomato knife’ I bought many years ago from WS but don’t recall the brand. Off to check them out.

I have some that must be 30 years old, including the tomato and the bread knife. It's great for cutting bagels, since it's long. I was so excited to see them at a flea market in AZ last year and bought a couple of paring knives. Now I want the peeler.

I have a crock full of Rada…..various size paring knives, bread knife, vegetable peeler, and a couple of stainless small spatulas. Their spatulas a slightly sharp on the end and are great for slightly slicing as well as serving things like casseroles, baked spaghetti, etc.

I retired from our local school admin where several of our school clubs, athletics, etc sold Rada for fundraisers. I couldn’t say NO to the kids😉. Occasionally, I still check in with the school staff to see if anyone is selling Rada when I need a piece.

Never heard of Rada - don't really have a need for any knives so I'll resist the temptation to buy.

I have a number of serrated knives. Most of mine are Kuhn Rikon except for the bread knife; that's a Mercer. Best bread knife ever!
