We are building a new home and want to instalI approximately 1700 square feet of engineered hardwood. We are looking for a product that is around $5 per sqft, 1/2 inch thick, a 2-3mm wear layer, and a low maintenance finish like aluminum oxide or a matte lacquer. Our favorite option right now is TEKA 5" Amaretto White Oak, part of their Studio Collection. I can't seem to find a single photo online of this engineered hardwood used in someone's home, but I absolutely love the sample I got (see below). Has anyone here used this hardwood and would mind posting pictures? How was your experience with the product (ie. quality, finish, install, etc.)? Thanks!
