Rug  is from rugs usa.  TBH, i like the west elm better i think, but again my personal opinion.  They feel lighter to me because they don't have the thick wood trim.  I like the pattern in them.

Imuhrich, it is a lot of fun watching the process of you transforming your home. I have some thoughts about your need for more light on the dreary days...a "fake" celestory window (lighted behind) would be up high and eliminate the "need" for art above the sofa, a plus since it feels like anything above the sofa is too close to your beautiful art in the dining area. I wish it was possible to switch the desk and bookshelf. If they are similar in depth, could it work for you? The computer monitor by the sofa doesn't allow anything placed above it to look good, but the bookshelf would, and the flow on that wall would be improved. I did a couple of rough mockups to explain.

The West Elm mirrors are way too expensive as Cubby noted and I agree. I’m not in love with the wood mirrors either but I will defer to you if you like them. You can try heavy duty command strips to hand them.

So... this is my absolute favorite view and spot hands down in the whole condo especially in the morning on a sunny day or a cloudy one with the pond reflections watching the fish. Although right now it is a cluster of plants but seeing my computer and desk/bills, etc. is a no go. If it is cold I sit on the stairs with my coffee :) Happy place an love everything about it except the cluster that needs to be watered and moved

I can understand the idea behind wanting something reflective (mirrors) but just throwing out another idea. I like that this calm understated gallery wall that kinda breaks up the long wall nicely. But the mirrors work as well - I guess I just had to try this out to appease my own curiosity. Crate and Barrel.

I personally think the live edge on the mirrors from amazon are not exactly what I was looking for above the sofa. but can potentially make them work. Agree too heavy and still gravitate back to this pic in black or gold.

Not a fan of a fake window I dont even like fake plants I take care of them like they are newborns. Please dont be insulted but a fake window does not rock my world. I appreciate the ideas !!

I keep thinking the chairs at the table should rotate a little so that they all can see out the window…if possible…or even just have three?

I have heard you say light and airy multiple times.  I agree the amazon feels a bit too heavy.

What would be some heavy duty sticker stuff to put on the back of mirrors it to see if I like it I don’t want to hang them professionally until my handyman can come I just want some sticky something or other.. They weigh about 10 pounds each. Handyman can’t come until next week to do the ledge

Imuhrich, you can get picture hanging Velcro command strips to hang those mirrors. Check to see they will carry the weight you need.

That’s a beautiful spot on which to rest your weary bones and have a cup of coffee. The condo is really lovely and your view so peaceful.

Chairs around the table can be placed at 10 o’clock, two, four and eight o’clock. Don’t need to be traditionally at noon, three, six and nine. Try it out.

There will be a 84” x 8” ledge placed under the tv. It’s waiting to be installed by the handyman. So we probably don’t need another shelf, beads, but styling it will be fun and interesting. Stick around. 😉

The new DR chair setup looks great as well. Do you often use all four chairs? If not, maybe one could be stashed in a BR or somewhere until it is needed for guests. Would give more breathing room with only three chairs around table.

I don’t know how to break it to you, Imuhrich, but this new set up looks terrific! Really beautiful. I just got back home and looked at your post and my reaction was so positive. You did a great job. Love the new chair set up and I think three chairs would look “off” IMO.

I would not put the clock over the sofa but next to the TV is a possibility. I used to have that same clock. Many designers think clocks are out of favor. I don’t agree but, then, I’m not a designer. 😂🤣😎

I think your DR art needs to be lowered a little. Is it still waiting to be securely hung or is it already done. Remember center of art about 60-62” to center.

I really like the mirrors. Frames are natural and organic. They work well with the paneling (or shiplap?) on that wall, and they relate well with the DR wall art. If anything, I might have them whitewashed a bit, but the contrast is nice, as is the repetition of the wood in your shelf on the opposite side of the room.

Daughter had the MRI yesterday no results yet but hopeful. Feeling better taking Pepcid 2x day!! Will update when we get them!! The dining room picture center is exactly 60" from floor, Looks higher maybe with the huge ceiling!!

Would certainly need a smaller clock for the tv area but kind of like one there instead of kitchen!! Have not hung baskets!

I am liking the mirrors...But would want them stained lighter or whitewashed agreed! Seajay you are still not a fan of mirrors or you did the mock up of art for my mock up constant wants and needs!!!!! I like the art mock up but think i need reflection!! I will command strip them on the wall tomorrow just to see. The handy man could probably do something to lighten!!

The mirrors are growing on me. Place one next to the ledge so we can see contrast. And if you were to go to a Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore paint store and take a mirror with, they could give you great advice on how to lighten a bit. Sometimes it simply involves watering down a paint and rubbing it on with a soft cloth or brush. I would get advice from the experts and then instructions to give to handyman. Don’t assume he knows. Just saying . . .

I like the mirrors the only thing I don't like is that they are all exactly the same. If each one was more obviously different it would be better.

Saw this and thought I'd share, long wall with two art groupings... one large piece and then above sofa, a vertical mirror flanked by smaller art.  I actually kinda like the idea of different sized pieces...

I agree about liking different sized pieces. It breaks up the semi-rigid look of two blocks of rectangles on the long wall. Just looks a little looser and informal (to me at least…) to have a grouping of pieces above the couch. Maybe two of the Amazon mirrors on the TV wall - much like Seajay had mocked up with your two branch pieces that have been returned.

I envisioned three chairs loosely placed by the table - not equidistant from each other but leaving a section of table open to the LR. But might be a crazy idea. I just like playing and thought it might be something for lmuhrich to try..

I do love that CB gallery set I had it in my cart at one time to remember!! I am starting to think one set of mirrors gets returned~!! I gave the tree branches to the handyman--he liked them better than I did!!

Tell me if I am wrong, but getting the impression you aren't in love with any of the mirrors or the overall look above the sofa.  I was thinking more and using the concept below of the mirror with framed art, I put this together...  you may hate it but thought I'd share...  I liked the colors in the art, brings in nature but somewhat abstract...  mirror and then 3 art pieces on one side of the mirror.  Art is from minted and comes in multiple sizes and frames...
