What Pendant Light Above Sink? Mix Metals??

I CANNOT decide what light to put above our sink. I wanted to do a simple black pendant light…but my cousin thinks that will look awful and that I should stick with e metal finish that’s already in the room. Either a brushed nickel or bronze.
Thoughts?!?
I have a combo of black and stainless steel appliances and champagne bronze cabinet hardware. The backsplash will be white subway tile.

Secondary question, we have an eat in area to the left so ideas for a chandelier for above the table? Does it have to match the light above the sink?

I’m not good at this. Any advice would help!

A small flushmount school house style light would be cute.

Why not simple recessed lighting? It’s a rather tight space between the cabinets. Do you think a pendant might crowd the area?

Recessed lighting is the most common in this spot. Something hanging down with larger items one might deal with by a sink will cause issues.

I also like the flushmount school house light idea. i am not a fan of recessed lighting.

You can try sconce, either bronze/gold or black with some bronze elements in it would look great!
