They are an all aluminum window which means they will be lacking performance wise and they are an average at best window which lends to lower performance typically so that in my opinion would be 2 strikes. Pella is a poor choice in any series in my opinion. What series Andersen? What else is available to you or your builder?: The lower price point and shorter lead times will make this tougher.

@millworkman thanks for the feedback. I agree Pella does not have a good reputation, the wood interior does look nice tho! Andersen would be 400 series and their leadtime right now is only 4 weeks. My husband is a contractor so we are GC-ing the build he has typically only used Andersen but our quote from last year of about $30K has gone up dramatically so just checking if there are any other good less name brands out there.

I would look at the Marvin fiberglass but the lead time issue is going to be tough if you need them that quick.

Unfortunately Marvin lead times are 18-24 weeks and I don’t have that luxury of time, thanks tho!
