The colour isn’t actually awful. It needs to be cleaned up and power washed and you need a garden plan. I would probably focus on that to be honest

Consider cleaning it all up first with a good power washing. Clean up the border around base with landscaping so dirt isn’t staining the house. No gutters? Maybe look at soft taupe and use creamy white sparingly on trim.

I would not paint the quions or keystones a different color.

You have to powerwash before you paint anyway, so see how it looks after that, before painting. I agree with the idea of a creamy white without any differentiation on the quoins. If you go with a dark color it's going to look dreary.

White on white look good. And off-white will pop up white trim.
