I am about to order some white Marvin Elevate insert replacement windows, white inside out, white hardware. They will have 7/8 SDLs. Most will be 6 over 6, with a few larger cottage 6-over-9 and 8-over-12 units. I'd like to keep a traditional look in this center hall colonial house.

I plan to order stainless spacer bars as provided by Marvin. I find that darker spacer bars "interrupt" the flow of the inside and outside grids, and are too heavy/create too much of a "shadow" in the muntins.

I am missing something? Anyone BTDT? Thanks.
