Question about plant ordering & installation

Carolyn
last year

Is this a resource where we could pre-order all the plants for later planting in the fall? I’m thinking I might have my contractor just get everything ready and put the water in the right places, and then perhaps you can come back later and supervise planting in September. Do you have a crew you work with?

Hello! To answer your questions, no, I don't have a crew that I work with. High Country Gardens does grow many of the plants in your design; however, because they are mail order, they ship only small size plants. That's fine for perennials, we don't need 5 gallon on those. But for larger sizes on the shrubs and succulents (which are typically slow growers, so we want to start bigger) Star and Moon are still the best bet. In my experience, plants may need to be sourced from more than one nursery. I'm happy to supervise in September to make sure everything is correct if you wish!
