I understand you're concerned about how this is going to look over a large area and you have a good point. A lot of LVP ends up looking stripey. Have you chosen your kitchen cabinets yet? If you're keeping your furniture in the livingroom, how do the samples look with it? Are you replacing carpet? If you already have wood in the livingroom the recommendation is to continue the wood into the kitchen. A manmade product is never going to look as good as the real thing.

Thanks for the great questions. The kitchen will be all new white dove color cabinets. The whole first floor would be changed to this LVP. We have carpet only on the stairs which I am planning to change with the same as well. As for the furniture, that is something that totally escaped my mind. We would probably like to keep some of it (budgeting concern) but they are more of a traditional kind.
