Excalibur Red Lime cuttings did well this time around.

I haven't had the best success making citrus cuttings, nearly gave up after the first failed attempt, but my Red Lime cuttings really did well this time. I once read at this forum to take cuttings when the tree is in an energetic growth mode, and that's what I did this time around, and it was a success.


A while back I made about 12 containers of cuttings like the one below from my Red Lime Whim Tree. I've given all but this one away, which I'll be keeping. There's 2 in this one, will be dividing them today. If you have failed at citrus cuttings before like I did, don't give up!


Question: I've always heard citrus tree from cutting is less cold hardy that one grown from seed. About how less cold hardy are they? 5, 10 degrees?
