What is happening to my Kaffir lime tree?

I recently brought home a Kaffir lime from a nursery and repotted it in a large pot with citrus potting mix and some slow release citrus fertilizer then fave it a good water.

There were a few yellow leaves when purchased but the issue is getting worse. In addition to the yellow top of leaves there is browning on the bottom and what looks like circular marks (pin prick size).

Does anyone know what is causing this?

How recent? Awfully large container for the size of the tree, Id think it never gets a chance to dry out.

Looks like a combination of sunburn and mesophyll collapse. Per UC IPM:

Identification tip: Soft tissue between leaf veins becomes sunken and translucent or pale due to moisture stress when trees are unable to provide leaves with enough water; affected leaf tissue then becomes tan-colored or necrotic.

The two often go hand in hand, especially for potted trees adjusting to a new environment (soil, air, and light) and watering regiment.

Edit: You'll probably want to put the tree in a shaded location until it adjusts. Though with the sun rapidly waning for the season, maybe you won't need to worry about it.
