Stunning Bathroom Faucets but what color lights and Mirror?

I fell in love with these faucets and ordered four for all of our bathrooms but now I don't know what color to use for the mirror and the sconce/vanity lights? Should I do black mirrors and black lights or black mirrors and chrome lights? The hardware on our cabinets will be black. The cabinets will be paintred white (or at least as of today-can still change that) ....Or should I do gold sconces and gold mirrors?

and what do you think of these lights?

or sconces?

Beautiful faucets! My opinion is to limit the finishes to just two. I would do the chrome lights and a mirror with a thin black profile. Good luck!

I don't believe lighting and plumbing need to be of the same material. For a crystal lighting fixture one must have crystal faucet handles? Yes, they make crystal faucet handles but...really?

We have similar shiny chrome faucets and the sconces are modern but with kind of an antiqued brushed brass finish and frosted glass and they look great. Adds warmth to the room. Go with the side sconces, the lighting is phenomenal, it eliminates the glare from overhead. We got dimmable bulbs for times when you just don't need all that light.

Actually we got a mirror the width of the vanity top and the sconces were placed on the mirror where they would naturally be on the sides. Wow.

Here is a discussion on Mirror Mounted Sconces.

Our install is similar to the first photo and the same linear sconces. Ours was a corner vanity like this and mirrors to the ceiling but plus the mirrored side wall, and put the second sconce on the side mirror. It looks like six fixtures. Click on link above.

Kendrah After reading your comment I agree with you about ruling out the lighting fixture with swoops. Will go with sconces. Do we need three sconces, namely one on each side of our mirror and one in the middle, or four with one on each side of our mirrors? The vanity is 72" long with two sinks.

Both 3 or 4 work. 4 will give you much more light. Use bright bulbs regardless. They should not be overhead. I guess it would depend on how far apart the sinks are and how wide each mirror is. Dimmable bulbs are a plus.

    Tnese are too high.

This one could use 4 with two middle ones the same distance from the mirrors as the outer ones.

These look too dim. Get bright bulbs as these are the only source of light at the vanity.

If you use three sconces, you must carefully calculate the widths of the mirrors and the sconce locations. You want to center the mirrors over the sinks AND you want the distance between the four mirror edges and the centerlines of the three sconces to be equal (as shown in the photo). This may not be possible depending on the locations of the vanity sinks and walls that abut the vanity. For example, if the sinks are close to the ends of the vanity, you may not be able to place the center sconce the same distance from both mirrors as the left- and right-hand sconces are from their respective adjacent mirrors.

True, four fixtures with one on each side of the two mirrors is easier to be symmetrical and with the benefit that provides even light on the face.
