In the picture you posted, I would say I prefer the black side table to the storage ottoman, the black side table make the space looks neater.

Keeping the floor lamp is totally fine, maybe it would be better to move the floor lamp to the area behind the sofa.

About curtains, I would recommend light-colored curtains, like white, light beige, etc. Linen, cotton, sheer, or blackout curtains would be nice, the texture depends on your needs for filtering lights or privacy. The height from the ceiling to the floor would be good!

I don't think either of those coffee tables work. I would look at something with curved edges.

Can the sectional be reoriented so you could switch the art with the TV? The TV is too high for the size of the room

Thank you so much for your help. I managed to find an oval table but unfortunately I was sent three different colours and two different sized side tables. I need to decide which to send back. Alternatively, I found two round tables but not sure if they overlap enough (we have all brushed bickel accents in the adjoining kitchen so also not sure if chrome works here). Last question is about whether the little lamp is too matchy matchy.

lovely space You've already done an outstanding job! The area to the right of the sofa is where the floor lamp should be placed. I think the black side table looks better in the photo you posted since it gives the room a cleaner look.
