Same! I’m wondering if there would be too many knots if placed down in a large space. Pictures would be great!

Alaina- did you go with the Blonde Oak? I am trying to get to decide if it is worth the extra cost? It s a front runner for me for sure. Thanks!

We just installed COREtec Sea Salt this week and love it. I was nervous about the knots too but after seeing it all we are very pleased with it. Our contractor said it was very easy to work with installing. He really loves it as well.

Beautiful! Is the black stuff underlayment? If so, cortec has attached underlayment and is designed not to have to install separate underlayment. It actually voids the warranty due to improper install

I just had Blonde Oak installed throughout most of my home and I’m in love! We haven’t experienced the sore feet or ripped socks, thankfully! Those stories had me worried! I’ll attach some pictures below. I had a flood which is the reason for the new floors, so there are some things I’d still like to update, but for now, this is what we have!

    A few more

Also, the black layer is what is called a vapor barrier. It is required in order to maintain the warranty.

@zabenjes thanks for the info! I reviewed the installation ans warranty paperwork and it states ”Installation of 6 mil Poly Film Underlayment is recommended for floating method only in high moisture applications”.

How many different boards patterns are there in the blonde oak. Are there a lot of repeats? Thanks! Looks great in photos!

Does anyone have more pictures of coretec sea salt oak? We are ready to purchase but want to make sure this is the one. When we received the samples they appear to be all one color . Although, we see variation from entire room stock photos. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We ended up going with Stanton oak, it’s from a different coretec line, I love the color in our house. Goes well with our honey oak banister and kitchen cabinets. But still is neutral and classic.

I just remodeled my mothers home and used ”Sea Salt” throughout the whole house with SW Agreeable gray for the wall color. It turned out perfect! The contractor said it was easy to lay and he planned to use it with his next project.
