New Bathroom needs a Backsplash

Hi. The pictures show our kubebath 60" vanity that we installed into the basement bathroom. What do you suggest for a backsplash? Kubebath wasn't able to match the acrylic top with an exact 4" high acrylic backsplash, so I can't pursue that. Alternatively, how might we dress up the room while keeping the vanity the focal point? The pics show the installed steam shower on the opposite wall. The floor is polished concrete. The sconces could be changed out. The mirror is movable. The faucet is only three quarters of an inch from the dry wall. Your advice on backsplash material, height, color and whether to move the mirror up or down is all welcome.
