Hi. Design needs to happen in a logical order. So, I recommend prior to decorating that wall, you

1) Create a good floor plan. This one is not the best. I can help you with that if you tell me what the function of this space is and if there is a tv in the room. Finally, is this furniture staying in the room?

2) Find photos of rooms you like. What design/style do you like?

Once you have those, we can then think about decorating the wall.

Since you don't show the rest of the room, it's difficult to say if this is a good option or not, but the sofa opposite that wall looks like it would be a better scale against the wall than the tiny one you have there. I would first switch them out (if that works for you) then think about hanging art above the higher backed sofa.

Put the furniture legs on the rug to tie the grouping together. It currently appears as though the rug has been cleared off so it can be shampooed.

I also think the sofas should trade places, setting the short grayish one in front of the window.

I agree about addressing layout first. Having all the furniture backed up to a wall rarely makes for a good conversation group and doesn't look great. What is on the 4th wall of the living room that we can't see in the photo? Are there traffic patterns that need to be accounted for?

Big item do you need a TV in the space .
