Blanco may have invented it, but I'd suggest you compare the Blanco samples to the Elkay. Blanco is a brownie; Elkay Quartz Luxe is a chocolate bar. So much finer.

Please be careful of the black stainless offerings inside a bowl. In my opinion, there is no way they will last the test of time without exposing the base metal (silver stainless) over time. The granite composite sinks are likely the best for a black sink, however, they are not a lifetime sink. They can crack and, if you have hard water, get calcium stains that may be difficult to deal with. All too often, we are just about the only custom sink choice to replace discontinued or failed sink installations. Do your best to invest in something that will last the test of time. Lastly, I have seen some composite sinks with rear corner drains and workstation steps. A center drain, in my opinion, should have no value in 99% of the sinks on the market. If you cook, every day, like I do, there is nothing more annoying than a center drain in a sink.

I've retrofitted several hundred of the Elkay sink pictured above over the last 5 years or so. I finally got a warraty call on a crack. I haven't determined if it was product failure or customer abuse, but Elkay is replacing the sink and I'm eating the labor.

I have no idea who the manufacturer was, but I am now replacing this sink.
