We have swivel club chairs with different style ottomans, same leather. I did not want it too matchey. We use them daily for reading and watching TV

I like swivel chairs. But have a 6lb dog. Would be scared of the dog getting injured if the chair swing around too fast. Small dog issues. Lol

I also want a wider chair because the dog likes to lay next to me on the side. Gosh, sounds like the dog is ruling the house. lol she kinda is. Lol

I get it, big time dog lover here. I would steer away from a recliner then. Your poor pup might get punted across the room when the foot rest pops out!

Currently have an electric recliner. Doggy steps at the door. Electric is slow so she doesn’t get flung. Funny visual though. Lol

I do not love recliners and I do not see your space so honestly no way to answer I think 2 chairs and 2 ottomans just a better choice and for the dog much easier to get on the chair .

I have two swivel recliners Absolutely love them.
I don’t like ottomans, to me the just get in the way of getting out of the chair and they are another object in the room. My swivel recliners are not big and clunky. Well not in my living room anyway.
